Birdman and Lil Wayne Sued For Copyright Infringement

Lil Wayne and Birdman are being sued by a Florida man who says the two artists used his voice on a tracks off their 2006 collabo effort, Like Father, Like Son. Thomas Marasciullo filed a copyright infringement lawsuit Friday (October 30) in a Manhattan courtroom, naming both rappers, their label Cash Money Records, and various distribution companies. |

Rapper Mike Beck Killed In New York

Mike Beck, a member of Fat Joe's K.A.R. collective, has reportedly passed. While details are still sketchy, word is, the New York rapper was gunned down in Brooklyn late Friday (October 30). But, the death was confirmed by fellow rapper, N.O.R.E., who posted a message on his Twitter page (@Noreaga). |
