What nas is saying there, for those who can't understand the deeper meaning of lyrics, is (1)He doesn't care if his shit sells good becasue most people dont truly understand/believe in what he is saying, (2)most people who would have bought it are just buying it because its another curse-filled rap cd, not cuz it has an important message, (3)most of those people are just looking for that next gangsta rap cd and don't care about the meaning, and therefore mean nothing to Nas, seeing how they arnt the audience he is trying to reach/help, and (4)he honestly doesn't care if he only goes gold, which is selling 100,000 records, because if he sold anymore than that it would surely mean he is getting sales from a larger fan bafe, from people who don't understand his music and he frankly doesn't care about making sales on this one cuz its bigger than the money. go suck a dick o'rielly, you fat lipped pig. or just fuck another underage girl you fuckin racist pedofile.
