Jay-Z has signed on to perform with band Coldplay on three dates late in 2009. However, the dates will be overseas.
After a few years of collaborating sporadically, the rapper will serve as a special guest for the last three dates of Coldplay's upcoming tour, which kicks off Tuesday (November 25) in Anaheim, Calif.
The three dates with Jay will come in mid-September 2009, with stadium dates in England and Scotland.
Coldplay appeared on Jay-Z's Kingdom Come, while the New York rapper appears on the rock group's latest EP titled Prospekt's March.
Tickets for the stadium tour will go on sale on Friday (November 28) at GigsAndTours.com.
