Damon Dash is throwing rocks at the throne, recently telling stories about how his former business partner, Jay-Z, hated his superstar Kanye West.

According to the New York Daily News, Dash -- in an upcoming interview with Complex -- claims that Jay originally didn't like West, and in 2003, refused to present the producer/rapper with a Roc-A-Fella chain to initiate him, officially, onto the label during a concert in Chicago.

Dash says that, at the time, the up-and-coming West expected Jay to knight him with a Roc chain during the concert, but Jay refused. So, he had to set in to make things right.

"This n**** [Kanye ] was like, 'Wow. [Jay-Z] ain't going to give me the chain,'" Dash claims in the December issue of Complex. "I had to take off my chain and give it to him, and I was heated. I had the real canary diamonds. That sh** cost $40,000! I told Kanye, 'Yo, you got to give that back when we get off this stage!'"

Dash goes on to say that "Kanye hated Jay-Z" after that.

However, a rep for West, calls the story "ridiculous and totally false."

Other sources told the New York paper that Dash's relationship with Jay ended on bad terms, and is using false tales to help promote his newest protégé, Jim Jones.

"This is sad," the source told the paper. "Damon does this every time he's promoting an artist. He just makes things up."

The source also adds that Jay and Kanye have performed several times since this "alleged" beef, and even says "They're friends and always have been."

"To say he hated him back then is silly," another source added.

Dash is currently producing a documentary about rapper Jim Jones, and is using his pull within the industry to help up his star power. This is Dash's motive behind his recent claims, said the source close to Jay.

That sounds about right - Kanye has made it known that at Jay -Z did not want to get behind him on the rap tip - Kanye also has made it known - that it WAS DAME that got behind him on his move over from producer to rapper - Don't get mad at Dame because the truth is being told...yeah they may be cool now ,but back then I'm sure Kanye didnt have all these nice things to say about a person who didnt want him...that just futher comfirms the DISLOYALTY to Dame from both Jay and Kanye...and Dame was the bigger man out the whole situatoin because he has never just went hard on Kanye Jay or Beans and nobody else - He always keeps his cool.

Damn, it's nothing but hate on the net now and this is so sad, I know it's still some real netplayas out there but it's far and few in between. Dame don't probably read this shit but if he did I would tell him to keep pimpin. Everything happen for a reason and most people, private or public don't understand loyalty anymore don't know what it is to feed only what is necessary to the public and keep the rest for a book, movie or interview.
