Cassidy Inks Deal With Carmelo Anthony's Krossover Entertainment

Philly rapper Cassidy was recently signed to NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony's Krossover Entertainment label, where he plans to release a new album.
While Cassidy works in the studio on his as-yet-titled album, the label prepares for the release of their first artist, Berg, who will release his debut album, tentatively titled Language Arts.
Berg's debut release is said to feature collaborations with the likes of Rick Ross, Cool & Dre, Jadakiss, Gorilla Zoe, and Raheem Devaughn, as well as his newest labelmate, Cassidy.
However, before he drops his official project, Berg is currently pushing his recently released mixtape titled 800 Bodies, in which he showcases his alter ego Diego Ca$h.
"This mixtape shows the transformation of Berg into Diego Ca$h, and displays my lyrical growth and dedication to [the] genre of music that raised me into a rapper," the rapper explained.
Although the label's owner, Carmelo, is focused on his NBA career, he is optimistic about his record label, saying its growth will be immediate.
"Krossover Entertainment is positioned to experience immediate growth in the mainstream entertainment industry by assembling a high powered team of management professionals and industry tastemakers," Anthony said in a statement.
At press time, there was no date of release for Berg's Language Arts.
