Everyone loves Lil Wayne, even his peers. Recently, New York rapper Fat Joe weighed in on Weezy's skyrocketing popularity, exclaiming that the down south rapper is the "one of the hottest rappers."
Joey Crack, via an interview with MTV, praised Weezy after hearing tracks from his next solo project, Tha Carter IV, calling it "super-duper phenomenal."
"Lil Wayne, don't bet against him right now!" exclaimed Joe. "Don't bet against this guy ever right now. He calls me in the middle of the night: 'Come to the studio.' I get there, this n**** pressed play, and everything he played was super-duper phenomenal, number-one [smash]."
"He's singing, 'So I went to get her in my spaceship.' Yo Yo, the craziest thing you ever heard in your life -- it's over," he continued.
As Joe continued his pro-Wayne rant, he said that after the release of his highly-anticipated next album, Weezy will solidify himself among the best ... ever.
"But after this next album -- I'm not saying he's the best rapper of all time, [but] you can't compare him to any rapper in the world. Because no rapper has done what he's about to do. That's crazy! ... He's a rock star, man."
Fat Joe is currently in the studio working on his next album, titled Nino "Dubs" DeLuca. Like Wayne's next installment of Tha Carter, the album has no release date as of yet.
