Eminem Hints At New Album, 50 Cent Says Its Coming

It's been nearly four years since Eminem's Encore was released, and since then, appearances and even news on the great white hope of hip-hop has been sparse. Fans are waiting anxiously for Marshall Mathers' return.

While some of Em's artists has referred to his sixth studio album as King Mathers, there has been no official announcement of a title, single, and/or release date. However, we have hope.

The rapper made a rare appearance on his Sirius Satellite Radio station, Shade 45, to talk with DJ Tony Touch and Masta Ace about the 20th anniversary of indie record label Delicious Vinyl.

During the interview, he hinted at a new album.

"I always do side projects and produce for artists on the label," Eminem said. "I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now -- just banging out tracks. The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

There are no specific details even out there about the impending album, but 50 Cent recently told U.K. reports, while doing press for the new movie "Righteous Kill," that he's recorded with Em for the album.

"You think I'm gonna let him make the record and I'm there and not be on the record?" 50 Cent asked ITN.

"I had the opportunity to sit with [Eminem] two and half weeks ago for his project," he added. "I stayed with him for the weekend. His project is coming together. They're not gonna be excited till they hear the first single, then they're just gonna go right back to loving him all over again. They're gonna love Em like they loved him the first time he came."

50 added later, during an interview with the BBC, that Em's on his way, so hold tight.

"You'll be seeing him shortly," he said. "He's working. I spent the weekend at his house. Even though he tries to relax and stay home, it's impossible for him to stay in. A lot of material he wrote prior to this is being scrapped. He's got to feel like it's just happened, it's new and it's current. That's just how he is creatively as an artist."

Baby you need to be in a straight jacket with the comments you make because they are insane. How street are you and who made what you say law. Don't nobody have to be a dick rider for em as long as you are doing it. You got to earn respect-as long as you like him don't worry about what other has to say. There is still not anyone in rap that can match eminem lyrically. His material is always original, and he continues to be one of the few artists who can make a record without talking about his cars, jewelry, and selling drugs in every verse. Every time someone takes a little time off, everyone starts talking about how they fell off, but then when they drop that first single all the hate seems to quiet down. I have to agree with Sowth Carolina Boi, that Eminem's album will be one of, if not the highest selling albums this year. It's funny how when Eminem drops everyone says his sales are from white people, like white people don't buy any other rap cds or black people don't respect Em. People who say that are wrong on both counts, and obviously don't talk to people in the streets very often.

Yeah it's been hot because he's crazy and so is half of the world beside he is white and white people support him big time. So without a doubt he's going to sale but the shit will be stale because he needs some freaking help. White people buy more rap now a days more than blacks. Simple as that. But I don't care if he never comes back out because he hate women peroid, I feel sorry for his daughter. With that said he can rap his ass off but I don't get a hoot.

HA, id bet money ems cd is the highest selling hip hop album of the year (prolly 2009), im sayin ATLEAST triple platinum. Yall can doubt him if u want, but every single cd he put out was str8 FIRE, yall just ain't know good music i see

^ The biggest difference is that Stat Quo and Cashis are NOT Eminem, and Detox has been in the wings forever. If there's an Eminem album on the way, alot of shit will get pushed to the side because he's a guaranteed plaque.
