Actress Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, from HBO's series "The Wire," was arrested on drug charges on Thursday (August 21), after police picked her up for refusing to cooperate as a witness in a murder trial.

According to the Baltimore Sun, 28-year-old Pearson was arrested at her home in Baltimore after members of the city's homicide unit entered the residence by forced entry to serve a "body attachment" warrant, which allows authorities to detain her until the September 16 murder trial of Steven James Lashley.

Upon entry of her home, police say they found two blunts containing a small amount of marijuana, resulting in Pearson being charged with one count of drug possession.

The actress is said to have watched Lashley stab three men, one of them died, following an argument outside New York Fried Chicken on The Block in 2005.

She is expected to be called as a witness during the trial.

The paper reports that a warrant was issued for Pearson after she failed to return phone calls from prosecutors and appear during an April 21 trial date.

She is now being held, pending testimony in the aforementioned trial.

Ahhh, Look I've been hanging out bmore lately and too tell you the truth Snoop is about as true as it gets. No frontin no nothing. Don't know if any of you ever dealt with gay people before but its just like dealing with a homosexual only realer because they know what they want and they go get it. She is a very sound person in reality and if any one asks her from this page I'm sure she'll tell you the same no homo.

Snoop was the hardest muthafucka on the wire out of everybody...Straight up gangsta.I got love for her for real.And as far as testifying...I'm not at all gangsta nor do I walk around sporting the t shirts and shit but I don't talk to cops.Period.I got my own reasons....I just don't like cops.. I remember when I was younger and somebody broke into our house.My mom called the police and guess what??The muthafuckas never showed up.They are trained to kill and so far this year we done had 100 homis in my city so them muthafuckas aint about sht.They jobs aint so much to arrest murderers they job is more to prevent them.Anyway snoop...Stay outta trouble and drop that album.I'm looking foward to it.
