The housing market slump claims yet another hip-hop mogul.

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash and his wife Rachel Roy are reportedly in jeopardy of losing two of their Manhattan apartments after failing to pay their pricey mortgages.

The Associated Press reports that Dash and his wife owe $7.3 million on the two properties, according to court filings, and foreclosure proceedings have begun.

Eastern Savings Bank, who holds the mortgages, says the couple's monthly mortgage payments are $78,500, which they apparently have been making.

Court papers were filed on Monday (August 18), reports the AP.

This message is for those of you who don't know. "Sometimes when your property is in the process of being sold, it will be or can be listed as a "foreclosure" on paper, but the owner still is/has been up to date with his/her mortgage payments; and not losing the property. "peace"

This brother has brought all of this on himself. Mr.Braggadocious always talked about his money,his swagger he can't be touched well he learned you can be touched by the powers that be. The IRS,FEDS,JEALOUS NIGGAS ETC,ETC...I hope that this brother will make better decisions in the future especially when it comes too hiring people. One of the biggest mistakes he made was when he appointed Camron as a business partner without consulting Jay first, that was a very undermining thing to do and Jay knew then I gotta break away from this cat! Choosing friends b4 business equals disaster. Hell we all need a little humble pie every now and then!!!
