Yung Joc Dismisses Dead Beat Dad Reports, Says He's 'Never Missed A Payment'

Following a lawsuit filed by his baby's mother over child support, rapper Yung Joc recently addressed the allegations of late payments, claiming it's been blown out of proportion.

Joc (real name: Jasiel Robinson) called into Atlanta's V103 radio station on Monday (August 18) where he stressed the fact that he pays monthly payments to Fatimah Jester, but when the process was delayed -- beyond his control -- she made a big deal out of it.

"I never missed a payment," Joc said during the radio interview. "I don't pay it directly to her; I pay it through [the Georgia Department of Resources Office of Child Support Services]. My banker wires the funds to DHR; they wire the funds right to her account. However long that takes, she needs to discuss that with them, and not put me out there bad like that."

In the lawsuit that became public last week, Jester claimed that the rapper owed her $2,000 in back child support for their 7-year-old son Amoni, and had refused to stay in touch with her.

Joc, however, explained that he does spend quality time with his son, and is upset about how the media portrayed him as a dead beat dad in light of the lawsuit.

"They brought up all the charges I been through, but they never brought up the fact that since I been on I've contributed over half a million to charities and I do charitable work every week," Joc explained. "You got cats out here that don't even be with their kids. And it hurts even more because I am a black man ... you born into this world as a black man, your back's against the wall. So I'm trying to do everything I can to go against the odds."

First, you are where you are as a result of a or many decissions you have made. Secondly, true be told I know this dude and he dose love and take care of his kids, but women sometimes can go to a whole nother level with druma not to mention, some punk-bitch ass lawer who's jeally of anothers success, that was a matter for them to handle personally not puttin that shit on the news, net and everywhere they could think to put the shit, over a small ass amount at that. thridly let this shit go it happen damn near last week. the whole damn thing is funny.

That's right get off your lazy young ass and put in some work, who in they right mind wants to be apart of the system? well it's alot of them not in their right mind and wants the system but this is sad. Stop being greedy and get up and get something, it ain't easy but nothing worth having ever is. i will always have a problem with those who don't try and keep trying but depends on child support and welfare. only if he's a dead beat but if he is trying why not do your part and visa versa.

My daughter is 6 & I've been in her life since day 1. Yet her mom went & stuck me for child support just because she lost her job. My baby means the world to me but to her mom it's all about money when they don't even spend to money on the child. The system gone always say the women are right but that's something they need to change...

when a woman go take out child support then thats where da money goes.on some dads its even harder to pay cause many black men been to prison a time or 2,cant get a job,and has medical problems.its not easy to do when you cant get know help.so if you havent been through it you dont know what it is so hush da fk up..

all ya'll some damn fools, including joc. That's garbage & he knows it! folks who haven't ever been through anything have NO idea, yet they run their mouths. Check It: 1. you lay down with a woman - it is YOUR responsibility to take care of the reprecussions from the action - NOT THE STATE. It is not the state's responsibility to take care of YOUR child. So, cats talking about paying the state are seriously copping out! And, there AINT NO EXCUSE! 'get off her ass', she didn't make the baby by herself so she shouldn't have to take care of the baby by herself.
