The Charts: Lloyd's Lessons Of Love Lands In The Top 10

There's not much this week on the charts, as far as hip-hop and R&B. You got the soundtrack to "Mamma Mia!" taking the throne, while Miley Cyrus and Kid Rock hold down the 3 and 4 spots respectively.
The only new release to chart within the top 10 is R&B singer Lloyd's third album, Lessons In Love. The new album -- which features production contributions from Polow da Don, among others -- landed at no. 7 with 51,000 copies sold, thanks to the Lil Wayne assisted hit single, "Girls Around The World." In comparison, his 2007 set, Street Love, began at no. 2 with 144,000.
While Lloyd makes his debut on the Billboard 200, Lil Wayne and his Tha Carter III album just continues to sell. Already at double platinum, the new album comes in at no. 5 this week, selling another 67,140 copies, pushing his total to a little over 2.1 million sold to date.
Rihanna's re-released third studio album, Good Girls Gone Bad, climbed two spots this week to no. 9, selling 43,900 copies. After 62 weeks, she's sold 1,594,440 copies.
The last album within the top 20 is Nas' controversial ninth untitled studio album, which grabs No. 18 this week. The project scanned 25,000 copies this week, and after four weeks, the Queensbridge MC's set has sold 316,351.
According to Billboard.com, sales this week are down 2.7% from last week's sum and down 10.9% from the same week last year.
