Texas rap legend, Scarface, is gearing up for his next solo album. It's titled Emeritus.
Emeritus means retired with honor. So is this southern rap legend hanging it up? We're not sure. He said this exact same thing two years ago to SOHH.com, and he's returning.
Now, with the title of his forthcoming album, he's just plain confusing everybody.
"This is it for me," Face told XXLMag.com recently. "That should end it right here. I ain't making it my last album. I'm moving on to some different sh**. It ain't my last album that I'm gonna be a part of. You never know what's next for me. I might go into making one of them rock bands."
When asked to elaborate on the title and possibility of retirement by XXL, he still refrained from fully answering.
"I'm not gonna say that," he replied. "I'm gonna say Scarface, Emeritus. As time goes on, you will understand it."
The forthcoming album has yet to earn a release date, but Face is helping to usher Killeen, Texas collective Green City onto the scene. Their new album, Brand New Money, is in stores now.
