The Game is no stranger to controversy, especially with his family. As most remember, he and his older brother Big Fase had problems in the past, but have since settled their differences.

Now, the rapper has gotten into it with another member of his family, his cousin.

According to TMZ, Robert "Kirky" Kirkwood filed a police report against the rapper recently when Game punched him outside his sister's funeral because of a money dispute.

Kirky says that the rapper had previously agreed to finance his sister's funeral, which is also Game's cousin. But when it came time to pay, he stiffed them.

The grand total was $14,000, which Game allegedly agreed to pay half of. Kirky says Game changed his number and was no where to be found.

Despite it all, The Game still showed up for the funeral, unexpectedly on Saturday (July 5), and even spoke at the service. This didn't sit well with Kirky.

He told TMZ that the two got into a heated argument outside the church when the issue of money came up. This resulted in The Game punching him.

Kirky has since filed a police report and an investigation is underway.

At press time, Game's camp was unavailable for comment.

This some sad,sad,shit. If game said he was going to do it then he should of stuck with it, your word at a time like this in your family should be your bond. so this is letting everybody know if he beefs with him family like that then he'll do it to an outsider...>yeah they are the only one know what was said and you really shouldn't depend on your family members who got money cause most of them are stingy anyway, but that was totally WRONG!!! and he's crazy. hope they work it out. money can't cure everything

in addition, the cousin would have to show me a receipt! I damn sure would get that receipt, shit, thats a tax write off…write it off as a charity give away! hell, thats legal too! just the mere thought of being hit up at a funeral would make anyone upset. you are already grieving, then this? i just hope the rest of the family sees the BITCH ASS NESS in games cousin…i believe game would have been good for the cash though…what i think happened was the cousin felt like well shit, game pitchin in $7500 so we gonna splurge on this funeral…doin all of that before securing the funds first…kinda like some of us are guilty of doin, getting that rapid refund and before the funds hit that bank accout we out there shoppin like a mofo…oops, funds got delayed for some reason for 2-3 days and you made a gang of purchases and the money isn’t there to cover them…guess what…nsf fees! lol

all i will say is this, out of all of his family, why should he be on the hook for half of the funeral? so what if he said he would do it, he didn't, and the funeral continued to go on without his half. his cousin was wrong for confronting him at the funeral, he should've waited until after the repass or the next day or whatever. thats why life insurance is important, if she had it, wouldn't have been an issue..better yet, if you are on a budget, costco sells all those pretty coffins you see at the funeral homes for a hell of a lot cheaper...as a fact, when my grandfather died, we saw a $6k coffin at the funeral home and guess what, costco had the same exact coffin and everything for $600. that saved the family $5400! game was wrong though if he did promise to pay and didn't, but dude initiates the fight, files a police report, threatens to sue, then tells the press? wow he got a bitch ass cousin..the family needs to get together and whip his ass,it makes the family look greedy!
