After being arrested and charged with marijuana possession on Sunday (June 8), it looks like the charges against Warren G have been dropped.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney decided to drop the charges against the rapper and associate on Monday (June 9) due to insufficient evidence linking them to the drugs found in the car, which was not registered to either of them.
As initially reported, Warren G (real name: Warren Griffin III) and associated Ryan Butler were stopped early Sunday after running a red light and upon search of their vehicle, weed turned up.
The amount of marijuana has yet to be revealed, but both men were charged with possession with intent to sell, arrested, booked and released on $20,000 bail.
