Diddy Calls Cameron Diaz Romance Rumors 'Ridiculous'

Despite being obvious friends, Cameron Diaz and hip-hop mogul Diddy have been "an item" among celebrity, urban and gossip blogs for quite some time. However, they've been just that -- gossip.

The pair has been seen together across the country -- from New York's Soho district to fancy restaurants in Los Angeles. But Diddy finds the notion that they are more than just friends "ridiculous," he said recently.

In a comment given to the New York Daily News recently, Diddy refuted the rumors, claiming he and Diaz are "just friends."

"It is ridiculous that two celebrities of the opposite sex can't just hang out with a group of friends without it being reported as more than that. We are just friends," he told the paper.

Diaz on the other hand is single and ready to mingle, recently telling InStyle that she loves dating.

"Men are the best!" she proclaimed.
