Following the backfire from mixtape DJs this week over a recently leaked interview where Lil Wayne said he doesn't "f*** with mixtapes DJs," the rapper phoned into DJ Drama's Sirius Satellite radio show to clear the air.

The New Orleans rapper, who is gearing up for the release his highly anticipated Tha Carter III album, had no regrets, saying he doesn't take back what he said, but elaborated on why he said the remarks.

"I ain't disrespect no DJs, no mixtapes DJs, whatever kind of DJ you is ... with no kind of disrespect," Wayne started off saying. "Especially given the fact, that me and Drama, me and Khaled, me and my n**** Raj Smoove from New Orleans, we all get it in and do the mixtape thing. Things were thrown out of proportion. But what I do wanna say is: whoever took what I said, whatever way they wanted to take it and feel some kind of way, I want you to know please do not feel differently after you hear me on this radio. I want you to still feel 'F*** me.' I want you still feel 'F*** that n****' 'cause when you see me in the streets, I want it to be that and I'mma bite your motherf***in' face off. It's Weezy Motherf***in' F."

That's a good way to clears things up right? He wasn't finished though. Weezy further stated to DJ Drama that when he made the comments in question in an interview with Foundation magazine, he was actually referring to two DJs in particular.

"I meant ever word I said, but I f***s with every DJ I f***s with," Weezy explained. "This Empire n****, I don't f*** with him. For all DJs, just letting ya'll know, it was meant for the Empire n****. I don't f*** with the Empire n****. The n**** puts out a CD on me every month. I couldn't tell you how none of them n****s look in person. That's what I be pissed off about.

"Plus, I went and got a mixtape of some sh** called Wayne's World, Volume 7 ... these n****s was on Volume 7. But first you gotta understand, when I put the disc in, these n****s on there talking like 'Yo n****, this our seventh time around, n****s is still hating on is. We getting money. We eating n****. Drop the track, Wayne's World, n****.' I'm like 'Ain't this a bitch? I don't even know these n****s.' So honestly, that's what I really meant. If you made the Wayne's World, volumes 1 - 7, your momma's a bitch. If you the Empire n****, I hope you die twice tomorrow. Every other DJ, I f*** with you (no homo), I love ya'll n****s. I wouldn't be sh** without you to," he continued as he said his peace.

Both DJ Drama and David Banner, who was also in the studio during the radio interview, agreed with Lil Wayne, and understood where he was coming from. However, Drama, being a mixtape DJ himself who rose to fame through his widely popular Gangsta Grillz series, began to say that DJs need to take their craft more seriously, explaining how all of the mixtapes he's dropped have been official street releases done with the artists.

Wayne chimed in immediately after, saying, "There's a way to do it though. Put it like this, if I was a mixtape DJ and I was up-and-coming or whatever and I'm trying to become something close to greatness, than that would be DJ Drama, that would be DJ Khaled. So why would I do my sh** any other way than like that. That's why I don't respect em."

And for DJs who feel they've helped in continuing to feed the rapper's buzz with a endless supply of Weezy tapes, the rapper stated that they should find a way to reach out to him for an okay -- and emphasized that he wasn't looking for money either.

"Get some kind of clearance on it or some kind of okay. We don't want no money," he said. "IF we wanted money, we'd be eating off of everybody. We don't want no money, I got money. I ain't trippin' off of that."

The interview then went into talk of official music, where Wayne revealed that the Hot Boys reunion is official and that two tracks have already been recorded with production by Mannie Fresh. He did not, however, say when the new songs would come out.

Until then, Tha Carter III will have to do, and folks won't have to wait long. It's slated to drop June 10th.
