T.I. recently spoke to MTV, where he revealed that he was with his longtime girlfriend, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, all last week while she gave birth to her new son, Major Harris.
The rapper said that reports that Major weighed in at 5 lbs. and 15 oz. after birth were just a little off, and that Major actually weighed in at 7 lbs. and 4 oz.
"I was in the O.R. Hands-on. I was trying to help. ... Tiny's all right. She's a soldier," T.I. told MTV.
T.I. also discussed his time on house arrest for weapons possession charges last year, where he explained that he was able to spent a lot more time with his other five children, and was grateful despite his legal situation at the time.
"I was the babysitter," he said. "You always know it's somebody there now. The kids know they couldn't get away with nothing. I spent more time with them than I did since before anyone knew who T.I. was. I appreciate it. I value that time I got to spend with them."
Also, he become somewhat of a homemaker during that time as well, revealing he cooked and cleaned, but drew the line when it came to other chores.
"I was vacuuming, cleaning up. I wasn't washing no dishes. That's where I draw the line," T.I. said to MTV.
