B-Real, Dilated Peoples Among Artists Tapped For Sunset Strip Music Festival

The first annual Sunset Strip Music Festival has been announced and will take place in late June, with artists such as B-Real, Dilated Peoples and Everclear on board to perform.
The three-day event, organized by the City of West Hollywood and the Sunset Strip, will take place on June 26 through June 28, at legendary Sunset venues such as the Rocy Theatre, Whisky A-Go-Go, the House of Blues, Viper Room, Key Club and the Cat Club.
They have confirmed B-Real of Cypress Hill fame with Slash, Dilated Peoples, Hellygoodbye, L.A. Guns, Soul Asylum, The 88, and Godhead among others.
The festival is slated to launch on Thursday, June 26 at the House of Blues with a celebrity kick-off event emceed by Sugar Ray frontman/Extra host Mark McGrath, the festival will first pay tribute to Lou Adler, Mario Maglieri and Elmer Valentine, all music industry icons who connect the Sunset Strip to its past, present and future.
The Strip Music Festival is expected to draw 9,000 consumers, fans, VIPs and music industry leaders, throughout the notorious 1.3 mile stretch during the festival.
