The Charts: Rick Ross Hits Gold Sales, The Roots Fall Hard

There's not much in terms of new releases cracking the top spots on the Billboard 200 this week, but some of the usual suspects continue to sell.
Mariah Carey's E-MC2 fell three spots to no. 5 this week, selling 87,100 copies, putting her four week total at 828,600 copies.
Right behind Carey is Leona Lewis' Spirit, grabbing the no. 6 spot with 76,000 units scanned, putting her past the gold mark at 555,500 units sold to date.
After two weeks, R&B singer Lyfe Jennings falls out of the top 10, landing at no. 12 with Lyfe Change, recording a 60% sales decrease with 31,700 copies sold this week, putting him just over 100,000 copies sold overall.
Aside from the aforementioned, everyone else is below the top 20. The Roots' ninth album, Rising Down, plummeted from no. 6 last week to no. 28 this week with 20,741 copies sold.
Rick Ross's sophomore set, Trilla, fell to no. 34 with 17,500 copies this week, but the numbers certified his album with gold selling status.
According to Billboard.com, album sales this week are up 6.9% from last week's sum with 8.12 million units and down 4.6% from the same week last year.
