Despite being behind bars, Remy Ma is not letting that get into the way of her relationship with Papoose, and will go ahead with their planned marriage.
As previously reported, the two were engaged to marry in April in a regular ceremony, but due to her legal situation that resulted in Remy being locked down, the two made arrangements to marry in prison.
According to WNBC, the two New York rappers will marry on Monday (May 12) at Riker's Island, with two guests each at their sides.
Remy's lawyer, Ivan Fisher, confirmed this with the news station.
Remy Ma (real name: Remy Smith) is currently awaiting sentencing, after being convicted in the shooting of former acquaintance Makeda Barnes-Joseph after a dispute over stolen money outside of a Manhattan nightclub in July of 2007.
