Foxy Brown accepted a plea deal in Florida on Thursday (April 24) to avoid jail time for an assault charge stemming from an incident in March 2007.
According to the Associated Press, the rapper (real name: Inga Marchand) was facing up to two years behind bars, but instead she'll have to serve six months probation, perform 15 hours of community service and write apology letters to the store owner and the employee.
She was also ordered to complete anger management classes, which she has already done.
Back in March of last year, she was arrested and charged with battery and resisting arrest, after she alleged attacked an employee of a beauty supply store in Miami, when she was asked to leave because the store was closing.
She reportedly threw hair glue at the man, and spat on him, and then when police arrived, she struggled with the officer.
The AP reports that the owner of the Queen Beauty Supply has a civil suit pending against Brown.
