A showdown was set for 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew versus The Game come June 24th, when their albums were due in stores.
That, however, won't take place any longer.
Earlier this week, 50 Cent told MTV that he planned to push the release date of The Game's third album, Los Angeles Times (LAX), back to make room for the release of G-Unit's second album, Terminate On Sight, claiming he still has control over the Compton rapper's career.
"I'mma wait a little, then I'm just gonna push his album back," 50 told MTV. "I don't think there's anyone that would legitimately look at him like it's a competition, him versus G-Unit."
However, that is now irrelevant now, since both of the albums have been moved back to separate dates.
Interscope confirmed that the new release dates will be July 1 for the G-Unit, while The Game's forthcoming album is set for July 8.
"I will drop my album on July 8 in order to clean up the mess 50 made with his new release on July 1," The Game said in a statement. "I thank all my fans for their support on the new single 'Pain' featuring Keyshia Cole."
