After record breaking back-to-back no. 1 album debuts by Danity Kane and Day26, Diddy has announced that his groups will be taking to the road for a national tour.
All the "Making The Band 4" cast, including Donnie Klang, will take off on their tour beginning on May 24th in Orlando, Florida, then travel the country through June, hitting New York, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles along the way before it culminates with back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on June 9th and 10th at the Wiltern Theatre.
Additionally, the tour will be documented along the way, via MTV cameras, for the upcoming new season of "Making The Band," which will air in late summer.
Danity Kane's sophomore release, Welcome To The Dollhouse, debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 in late March, recording the all-girl group's second straight no. 1 album. It has since went on to hit gold sales, and made history by becoming the first female group in Billboard chart history to have both their debut and sophomore albums enter the main album chart at the top.
The following week, Day26's self-titled debut landed at no. 1 with 190,200 copies sold, officially logging the biggest-selling debut album from a male R&B group in the 17-year history of SoundScan.
Pre-sale tickets for the Making The Band 4 Tour go on sale Thursday (April 17) via the official Bad Boy Records website, BadBoyOnline.com.
