Dipset member and President, Freekey Zekey, was involved in a near fatal car accident Tuesday night (April 15), escaping serious injury.
According to a report from SOHH, the rapper (real name: Ezekial Jiles) was returning home from the studio when he was rear ended in Manhattan while driving his 2007 white S550 Mercedes.
The impact hurled the rapper and a passenger into the air, where they ended on top of a parked Hummer.
He was admitted into St. Luke's Hospital, but was released shortly after, sustaining minor bruising.
"I'm just happy to know that Zekey was not severely injured," fellow Dipset member Juelz Santana said.
During the night of the crash, Zekey was in the studio working on his sophomore album, due out this fall. It will be the follow-up to his 2007 debut, Book of Ezekiel.
