Toni Braxton Hospitalized In Las Vegas

Singer Toni Braxton was hospitalized on Monday night (April 7) in Las Vegas.

Reports are still sketchy, but a spokeswoman for the 40-year-old singer said she suffers from an undisclosed ailment that isn't life-threatening.

Is it not immediately known where Braxton was when she became ill.

One source close to Braxton told the LATimes.com that the singer suffers from Pericarditis, and is doing fine. She is expected to be released from the hospital later today.

Braxton has been performing at the Flamingo Hotel-Casino. Her Monday night show was canceled, and her Tuesday (April 8) show is expected to be canceled as well.
