D4L member Fabo was exonerated of drug and gun charges on Tuesday (April 1) after his friend took the rap.
According to the Courier Herald, the district attorney's office opted to not pursue charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methylenedioxymetham, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The charges stem from an incident in February 2006 when the rapper (real name: Lafabian Williams) was arrested in Georgia when police found drugs and guns after pulling over his vehicle.
His co-defendant, Curtis Alfonso Watkins, instead took the fall when he pleaded guilty to the charges.
He was sentenced to 15 years of probation, and must pay fines of $3,700.
