Three fans filed a $15 million lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (March 21) claiming that members of the rap group Boo Yaa Tribe and rocker Kid Rock assaulted them after they asked for autographs.

According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez were waiting outside Hollywood hotspot Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel in 2006 with cameras and an autograph books hoping to see the artists. But, when the celebs finally surfaced from the club, they attacked the fans after they asked for their autographs.

The plaintiffs claim they were beaten and kicked by Kid Rock and the Boo Yaa Tribe after attempting to get photos and autographs.

In the suit, they even claim that their cameras and bags were taken from them, tossed into the back of Kid Rock's limo, and were left on the pavement severely beaten while the Boo Yaa Tribe and Kid Rock drove off.

They are citing personal injury for the musicians' part in the attack, and general negligence against the Roosevelt Hotel for allowing the beating to take place on their premises because "they did not supervise, patrol, or monitor the area outside Teddy's Night Club," according to the documents.

At press time, Kid Rock nor the Boo Yaa Tribe was available for comment.
