Earlier this week, a quote popped up from an interview with Young Buck where he allegedly said that he had yet to receive one royalty check since signing with G-Unit.
Well, those words are false, said Young Buck's manager, Sha Money XL. He released a statement Friday (March 21) where he clarified the recent quotes from Buck, denying the outright.
"There has been a new rumor going around that 50 Cent has not paid Young Buck any royalties. I, as Buck's manager and as former President of G-Unit Records want to make it clear: that is false. Young Buck has cleared over $10 million dollars working under 50 Cent's and my guidance," Sha Money said in the statement.
While rumors of a rift in the G-Unit ranks continue, Buck continues maintain his loyalty to the man who made him the star he is today -- 50 Cent.
Buck made it very clear to us last month when asked about his status with G-Unit that he's still down 100%.
"I'm doing me, I'm getting to the money. I put the 'G' in G-Unit and I ain't going no where regardless of whatever you may hear. Me and 50 good. I'm not with Cash Money," Buck told BallerStatus.com.
Sha Money backed those words as well, denying that Buck has any immediate plans to split from G-Unit/Interscope to sign with anyone else.
"Any talks of Buck signing to any other labels are false. People are playing the divide and conquer game and that's not going to work," he said.
