Remy Ma is finally going to trial.

According to Reuters, jury selection in her New York trial will begin next week. A Manhattan state Supreme Court justice has scheduled jury selection for Thursday (March 6).

Remy Ma (real name: Remy Smith) is accused with shooting an acquaintance in the abdomen in July 2007 over missing money after leaving a trendy Manhattan nightspot.

The dispute was allegedly over $2,000 missing from the 26-year-old rapper's purse.

Remy has since pleaded not guilty to assault and related charges and is currently free on $250,000 bail.

If convicted, Remy could face up to 25 years in prison.
