Rapper Busta Rhymes accepted a plea bargain in a New York courtroom on Wednesday (January 23), which resulted in the rapper receiving three years of probation for assaulting his former driver and a fan in separate incidents, in another to other charges.
In the beginning of January 2007, Busta was arrested and charged with assault for allegedly assaulting his former driver, after he visited the rapper to collect money he was owed a day after Christmas in 2006 (see "Busta Rhymes Arrested For Assault In New York"). Instead of collecting a check, he was attacked.
In August 2006, the rapper was arrested for another assault charge when he attacked a fan who spat on his car, following a performance (see "Busta Rhymes Arrested; Charged With Assault").
