Snoop Dogg, David Beckham To Create Line Of House Slippers

After having David Beckham appear on his new E! reality show, rapper Snoop Dogg is now teaming up with the star soccer player for a new footwear line.

The footwear, however, will not be any type of athletic shoes; they will be a line of house slippers.

Apparently, Snoop sent the soccer star a pair as a present and that's how the idea came to realization, according to British newspaper, the Daily Mirror.

"I got David a pair of slippers as a present and he took a picture of him wearing them and sent it to me. I was like, 'They look cool,' Snoop exclaimed. "We are talking about making a slipper together. So when I stop rapping and he stops playing soccer, we can kick back and slip on a house shoe."

Also during the rapper's talk with the overseas paper, he revealed that David's wife, Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) was initially not feeling that the two were hanging out.

Snoop said Victoria's reaction came from the public "bad boy" persona he carries.

"I met Victoria one time, at the Live 8 concert in 2005. She didn't like me much -- she didn't like my bad boy persona," the rapper said. "All she knew was, 'Snoop Dogg's a bad guy. I don't want my husband dealing with him - he's going to rub off on my husband.'

"But now she's seen my show, and I think I'm cool with her now that she knows I'm family orientated -- that I have a structure and a wife. Now she knows I'm a great person to rub off on her husband," he continued.
