Chicago rapper recently revealed that he has launched his own record label, Get Money Gang (GMG), where he plans to release a new album by his group, The Speedknot Mobstaz.
The forthcoming album, titled Mobstability II: Nation Bizness, will be the first through Twista's newly launched label, distributed through Koch Records.
The Mobstaz -- consisting of Liffy Stokes and Mayz -- is expected to leak the first single "Money To Blow" in the upcoming weeks.
So far guest appearances will include Twista and Jim Jones, while production duties will be handled by Chi-town producer Cuzzo and China White Productions.
"The album is the streets just like the first one was," says Mayz. "We don't have to create a fake image; we just have to let our soul speak to the people."
The Chicago duo first hit the hip-hop scene in 1997, appearing on Twista's 1997 LP Adrenaline Rush.
The following year, they released their debut album, Mobstability, which produced the single "In Your World," and went on to sell over 700,000 copies.
Since their debut, they have been a constant staple on Twista solo albums and now they will finally release their long awaited follow-up.
Mobstability II: Nation Bizness is slated to hit stores on March 18.
