Bad Boy South recording artist, Yung Joc, was reportedly arrested Sunday morning (December 23) at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport after attempting to pass through security with a loaded handgun.

According to local news channel WKYC, the handgun was fully loaded. He was said to have told authorities that he didn't know the weapon was there.

The rapper (real name: Jasiel Robinson) was arrested without incident, taken into custody and will face local firearms charges, but because of the incident taking place within the airport, he could be charged federally under the Air Piracy Act.

Joc remained behind bars at the Cuyahoga County Jail through Monday morning (December 24). He is now free on $50,000 bail and will be arraigned Wednesday (December 26).

Yung Joc released his sophomore album earlier this year, titled Hustlenomic$, spawning the hit single "Coffee Shop."

Despite his popularity, he was unable to produce sales. Joc received almost as much publicity for his oversized "H" chain, named after the album, than his music.

RENEE is a moron. just because he is trying to protect himself does not mean he should carry around a loaded gun, at an airport or on the street, shit is not right. he is a professional rapper, not a bodyguard, not an assassin, and hes not in the military. therefore, he should not carry a gun. people try their whole lives to be rich, and now the dude has made it, and hes gonna risk it all by carrying a loaded gun??? he has all the money he needs, he could hire 10 bodyguards to carry the guns for him. carrying the guns himself is the stupidest thing i've ever heard of. he's just as dumb as michael vick. why would vick kill those dogs himself when he could have paid someone to do it for him?? from what I understand, it wasn't that this man wasn't trying to be some ignorant thug. Maybe we should address the whole story before being so judgemantal. So many stereotypes are thrown around. Could it be that this man may legitimately carry a weapon for protection? In that profession especially I can see where it could possible. Have we forgotten that mess w/ TI in Cincinnati?? I heard Yung Joc always carries protection and forgot that he had one in his computer bag that he carries. It was a last minute decision to catch a plane and it was just a lapse in judgement that may forever follow him.

why would anyone bring a loaded or even non loaded gun to an airport?? and he's a rapper too?? he should know he's a suspect wherever he goes... and its not like national security is an issue these days...
