The Charts: Alicia Keys Goes Platinum Second Week Out

There's not much action as far as new releases on this week's charts, but there were a few artists managing to sell some albums.
Alicia Keys' new album, As I Am, cracked a million records sold in her second week, selling 348,600 albums, but slide one spot to no. 2 this week. Her two-week total is 1,092,200.
Chris Brown's album, Exclusive, actually moved up from no. 10 to no. 9 this week, selling 120,800 copies, a 10% increase from last week.
Jay-Z's 10th no. 1 album slides to no. 14, moving 86,500 copies of American Gangster, putting his three-week total at 643,000.
And despite being out since last September, Beyonce's B'Day saw a huge spike in sales, 999% actually, selling 73,300 copies and re-entering the chart at no. 19. The album's sales total is just under 3 million sold.
Freeway's Free At Last debuts at no. 42 with 36,000 copies sold. The new album from the Roc-A-Fella Records camp boasts appearances by Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross and Scarface, among others.
The Gorillaz make a return at no. 165 with their latest, D-Sides collection, which sold 7,500 copies.
And wrapping it up this week is Mike Jones, whose The American Dream DVD/EP checked in no. 182 with 6,800 scans.
According to Billboard.com, sales this week (13.94 million units) are down 18.1% from the same week last year (17.02 million). This week's sum is up 19% from last week's.
