50 Cent is the king of hype, especially when he has an album dropping.

After creating a media frenzy by going toe-to-toe with Kanye West on September 11th, by dropping an album on the same day and making a challenge that he would outsell him, 50 is once again creating even more things to talk about.

After appearing on BET's "Rap City" recently with a special appearance by Jim Jones who he interviewed and hinted at signing to G-Unit, 50 Cent surprised several fans in attendance during a performance in Manhattan on Thursday night (September 13).

Despite tension between the two crews in the past, MTV reports that Dipset members Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, joined 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks on stage for the G-Unit Boss' set, and were greeted by cheers as they made their way to the stage.

Jones immediately came out with his breakout single, "We Fly High," as 50 and Santana played hypemen (the rest of G-Unit exited momentarily), who both took turn putting up the b-ball shot that has accompanied the song's most memorable word, "Balllinnn'."

Despite rumors of Jones signing to the Unit, there was no announcement following Jones' one-song performance, so at the moment, nothing is confirmed. Jones and Juelz exited the stage immediately after.

The show did not end though. Despite the crowd initially booing 50 Cent, the rapper turned it around by running through his long list of hit singles including "P.I.M.P.," "Just A Little Bit," "In Da Club," "Amusement Park" and Window Shopper."

The remaining dates of his New York show run continues Friday (September 14) in Staten Island, Saturday in Brooklyn, and wraps up Sunday with shows in the Bronx and Queens.
