Model/singer, Mayra Veronica, is set to grace the covers of Maxim En Espanol and FHM Online this month simultaneously.

Photographer Charlie Langella utilizes a sultry burlesque theme to highlight the classic sex appeal that has come to define Veronica as an artist.

"Mayra has the star quality found in very few artists today," says FHM Editor-in-Chief Scott Kritz. "We knew from our first photo shoot with Mayra back in 2003 that she was the type of artist who would evolve into a pop phenomenon. The degree of sexiness Mayra exudes in this photo shoot alone is nothing short of incredible."

In her FHM Online interview, Mayra explains how society's current perception of beautiful is one that embraces curvaceous women. "I'm happy to be in an era where we're bringing the curves back," says Mayra. "We're bringing sexy back!"

The voluptuous songstress' Spanish album and, more specifically, her single "Mamma Mia" generated a buzz for her all over the globe this summer, specifically all over Europe and in Germany, especially. But it's her upcoming English album -- which includes guest artists Pitbull, Akon and Snoop Dogg -- that she hopes will break her into the mainstream within the U.S.

With a multi-million dollar deal with Coalition Music Group (CMG)/Universal Motown in place (see "Model/Singer Mayra Veronica Inks Multi-Million Dollar Record Deal"), Mayra has a bright future in music ahead of her.

Now having signed a multi-million dollar deal with CMG/Universal/Motown, Mayra is well on her way to conquering the U.S. pop charts.

Maxim En Espanol's Music Issue hits newsstands August 15.
