New York's Hot 97 radio station has announced the line-up for its annual Summer Jam concert and it's a big one.
The concert, which takes place on Sunday, June 3rd at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will include a star-studded line-up that features Ludacris, Akon, Chris Brown with Birdman and Lil Wayne, Diddy with Keyshia Cole and Elephant Man, Ne-Yo, Ciara, Young Jeezy, Mims, Swizz Beats, Rich Boy and T-Pain, among others.
According to a spokesperson for the station, additional performers will be announced shortly.
The Hot 97 Summer Jam has become the biggest hip-hop concerts in the world and the longest running urban radio station concert event. Since launching in 1994, Hot 97 Summer Jam has outgrown New York arenas and moved into the area's largest venue, Giants Stadium, for the fourth consecutive year to accommodate fans.
With a consistent record of delivering chart topping acts, Summer Jam has become a must for fans and is attended by more than 50,000 people each year.
Past performers and appearances include a who's who of hip-hop and R&B royalty, including Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G, Diddy, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott and others.
"The success of Hot 97 Summer Jam over the past few years speaks to the power of music and its influence on youth popular culture," said Daryl Butler, director of strategic alliances, Boost Mobile. "Boost is committed to providing our audience with the best experiences possible and Hot 97 Summer Jam is definitely one of those experiences."
