Rapper Foxy Brown was arrested in Florida on Thursday night (February 15) for battery and obstruction of justice, and held overnight.

According to the Miami Herald, Brown (real name: Inga Marchand) was hauled to jail after police were called for a disturbance at a Pembroke Pines beauty-supply shop.

The rapper allegedly became furious when the owner of Queen Beauty Supply asked her to leave -- because it was closing time -- while she was in the bathroom applying hair glue she had just purchased.

She then began squirting hair glue at a beauty store owner, swearing and spitting at him, knocking over display shelves and got into it with an officer who responded to the call.

The Herald reports that when the officer placed a hand on Brown's arm to escort her to the store, she swatted it away, started swinging her arms and struggling with the officer.

There were no injuries, but Brown was arrested and held on $1,500 bail for the two offenses.

This isn't the first time the rapper had an incident at a salon. She was sentenced to three years probation in New York last October and anger management classes for assaulting two nail-salon stylists over a $20 manicure.

She was reportedly doing well with her anger management classes. In January, she showed up in a court a changed woman, saying her classes forced her to "grow up" and "mature." Apparently, she needs to attend more of the classes.
