D-Block has teamed up with New York-based record label, Sasso Records, to open a car wash/detail center in Yonkers, New York, the first of many, according to the label's CEO.
Sasso, founder of Sasso Records, came to D-Block with the idea, being they have a great working relationship, and felt that opening their flagship center in D-Block's community would be the best start.
"I've developed a relationship with the D-Block family and respect them both as artists and people," said Sasso via a statement. "We all thought it was important for them to have a business which gives money back to their own community in Yonkers."
The D-Block Shell Car Wash/Detail Center will hold its grand opening on Saturday (October 21) at 364 Nephehan Avenue, Yonkers, New York.
Sasso, 30, opened his first Mobil gas station at age 18. He grew his operation and now operates 40 of Mobil full service, gas, food and car wash facilities.
"Since my expertise has been in the gas/auto/car wash business for so long, it was a great opportunity for all of us," explained Sasss. "I love to see music artists be able to branch out into other areas of business."
