The extremely popular "Grand Theft Auto" video game series by Rockstar Game was a hit, so others were bound to follow. The newest will be the THQ-published release, "Saints Row," which will feature exclusive hip-hop tracks by Ghostface Killah and Rhymefest, among others.
With the same type of gameplay that made the "GTA" series so popular, "Saints Row" will allow players to carjack with ease and kill pedestrians without remorse.
Another interesting feature is several radio stations with fully licensed music. So far, the XBOX 360 game boasts five original tracks from Ghostface Killah, Rhymefest, David Banner, Xzibit, Daz Dillinger and more.
The game's 12 radio stations will include over 130 beats to jam to, while you drive around Stilwater (the game's main city). Aside from hip-hop, there is rock to classical music and humorous talk shows, the choice is yours.
The original songs announced thus far include:
"Hurry, Hurry" - Strong Army Steady "Man Up" - Ghostface Killah And Trife Da God "Shut You Down" - Rhymefest "Saints Row" - David Banner "Git Out My Way" - Daz Dillinger "Leave The Ho" - Sy Smith for Psyko! "DFM Like I'm Your Wife" - Sy Smith for Psyko! "Bounce Like My Checks" - Sy Smith for Psyko!
"Saints Row" is slated for release August 29. For more info, visit SaintsRow.com.
