Young Jeezy was arrested on Friday morning (March 10) in South Beach, Florida after an alleged shootout involving members of his entourage.
According to Miami Beach Police Department, Jeezy and his entourage were involved in a fight around 5:30 a.m. Friday morning. When a spectator filming the altercation refused to give up the video camera, one of the men in the group began firing. Apparently no one was hit or injured by the shooting.
Witnesses say that the rapper and the group of men hopped into a black Lincoln Navigator and fled the scene, that's when the police were called. Police stopped the SUV shortly after, finding Jeezy's semi-automatic firearm under his seat and another semi-automatic gun near the armrest, according to the police report.
Jeezy was charged with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit -- a charge he has been arrested for previously. Two other men in Jeezy's entourage were arrested as well.
According to Jeezy's attorney, Scott E. Leemon, plans to fight the charges, citing the weapons found near him in the vehicle weren't his.
