Cash Money Records head, Bryan "Baby" Williams, was arrested on Sunday (January 29) in Miami, Florida on weapons and fraudulent driver license charges, according to the Miami Herald.
The paper reports that police officer Kevin Millan spotted the rapper/label executive "parked in the right lane of traffic" in his maroon-colored Maserati and approached him. After being asked to provide identification and vehicle paperwork, Williams reached into his glove compartment, revealing a loaded .40 caliber pistol tucked into his waistband, which dropped to the driver's floor mat.
During the arrest, the officer allegedly found three different ID cards and two driver's licenses under the names Bryan Williams, with a birthdate of Feb. 15, 1975, and Thomas Corey, with a birthdate of Feb. 15, 1969.
The rapper was also asked to supply paperwork for the Maserati, but didn't because it was recently purchased and was not registered yet, according to what he told police.
Williams was arrested on the spot, and charged with a list of offenses including carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unlawful use of a license by presenting another's driver's license, possession of a fraudulent license, and failure to have vehicle registration, according to reports.
Williams posted $18,000 bond, and is currently free awaiting a criminal hearing.
Defense attorney André Crenshaw told the Miami Herald that the allegations against Williams are false regarding the possession of the handgun due to "conflicting stories."
