Founding Wu-Tang member Gza is preparing the release of his next solo album, tentatively titled The GZA Presents on his new home at Babygrande Records.
In support of his Babygrande debut, Gza is hitting the road to perform at select East Coast venues. To help him on the road, J-Live, Vast Aire and C-Rayz Walz will provide supporting performances that are sure to give fans a healthy helping of hip-hop.
Gza, a.k.a. the Genius, is renowned for his lyrical dexterity, flawless delivery and the ability to paint a picture with words. Indeed, he is considered by many hip-hop aficionados to be the most adept linguist in the entire Clan, let alone hip-hop at large.
"GZA's the only one with a style that actually instilled fear in me," Rza said of his Wu brother.
The GZA Presents will feature contributions from several of the original members of Wu-Tang, as well as many of the extended Wu-Tang affiliates, and is expected to drop later this year.
Below are the confirmed dates for Gza's East Coast tour, according to a rep from Babygrande:
