Dipset capo Jim Jones is preparing a new album, and to help spread the word, he has teamed up with the Violator All-Star DJ Coalition, which was founded by Violator mogul Chris Lighty and DJ Scrap Dirty.
By teaming up with the Violator All-Star DJ's, Jones hopes to market and promote his latest Dipset ventures, as well as his upcoming solo project.
"I did a sweet album -- Diary of Summer -- and [Scrap Dirty] gave me a heads up saying that I am about to make a whole bunch of noise," said Jim Jones. "The Violator All-Star DJ Coalition has a strong presence in the radio and urban market place nationwide. All the artists whose music they embraced has spread like the plague and with me being deep rooted in the streets, this will be a very beneficial partnership and avenue for me and my music, and product."
Jones is nothing but thrilled about the new alliance. His new partner, DJ Scrap Dirty, believes in his vision and hopes to give Jones the ability to reach his full potential.
"The Jim Jones album is hot and is bringing new heat," said DJ Scrap Dirty. "The Violator All-Star DJ Coalition embraces the Jim Jones project, not only for the dope music, but for the man behind it. With our access to the most coveted and powerful DJ networks in the industry, this can only help Jim Jones and take him to the next level; reaching people in the clubs, on the streets, and reaching the masses."
Harlem - Diary of Summer will be released on Diplomat Records/Koch Records, and is expected to drop this summer.
