The Bay Area has its share of hip-hop veterans, and one who has long history is Celly Cel. With several albums under his belt, and a long list of collaborations -- which include E-40, C-Bo, and B-Legit -- the Bay Area native is preparing the release of his seventh studio album, It'z Real Out Here.

The new album follows such classics as his 1994 debut Heat 4 Yo Azz, and his best-selling album to date, Killa Kali. Celly says he has put a lot of work into his new album, so the fans get their "moneys worth."

"I put 110% into this album, [and] in everything I do, everything I write [are] all my own lyrics," Celly Cel told RapNews.net in a recent interview. "I'm putting it work; tryin' to make sure ya'll appreciate it and get your moneys worth."

With the face of hip-hop always changing, Celly Cel tries to stay positive, keep the love of the sport relative in his music, and try to use today's music to inspire him for his next song.

"A lot of people think about quick money sayin 'how much money am I gonna make out of this,' " says Celly, "but I got love for the music. This is my thing; I get off on this stuff. I'm always thinking of new things to talk about."

The album's first single is set to be "I Want You" featuring the sultry vocals of Art N' Soul, and is currently being serviced to radio. The album also includes guest appearances from E-40, W.C., Federation, Jay Tee, Juvenile and the Hillside Stranglaz.

It'z Real Out Here is currently in stores now. For more info on Celly Cel, visit his official site, CellyCel.net.
