After a 10 year hiatus, famed 90's hip-hop trio Digable Planets are set for a reunion.
The group -- consisting of Butterfly (Ish), Ladybug Mecca and Doodlebug (Cee Knowledge) -- first broke onto the scene in 1994 with the hugely popular single "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat) from their Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time & Space).
The album helped the group acheive global success, as well as helping them garner a Grammy win for Best Duo or Group.
After following up their largely successful album Blowout Comb, the trio split to pursue solo careers, leaving their mass array of fanbase eagerly awaiting their return.
Although they parted ways, the members -- individually -- continued to work, whether it be writing film scores and soundtracks, appearing or acting in indie films or recording solo material.
Currently, there is no word on new music will be released from the trio, but word from their publicit is that they are definitely back in contact and have reunited.
