Babygrande Records is gearing up to release indie artist Jean Grae's much anticipated LP, This Week, next month in conjunction with Orchestral Entertainment.
After garnering attention with her first release on Babygrande Records, The Bootleg of the Bootleg EP, the rapper is coming back strong with her second full length release.
Coming off the buzz of her Bootleg release, Grae joined the Okayplayer Tour last winter, where the emcee hooked up with The Roots and was asked to join their spring tour, in addition to recording a track for The Roots' recently release The Tipping Point.
Grae will also be featured on Talib Kewli's upcoming Beautiful Struggle LP, "The Badass" soundtrack, as well as a collaborate with Masta Ace and Babygrande's own Sharkey with his song "Summer in the City."
The first single from the new album is set to be a double A side consisting of "Goin' Crazy" and "U Don't Want It," produced by Midi Mafia.
The album wil also feature production from 9th Wonder.
This Week is slated to hit store shelves on September 2.
