Detroit native and once Eminem hype man, Royce Da 5'9, is prepping the release of his next album, titled M.I.C., through Sure Shot Recordings.
After releasing his massively bootlegged debut, Rock City, on Columbia Records, Royce went through personal problems, had a highly publicized beef with his former friends D12 (this beef is featured on the upcoming DVD titled "Beef II") and had to deal with various label changes before dropping his very personal sophomore album.
M.I.C. will be Royce's second album this year, following up his highly anticipated sophomore effort, Death Is Certain, which dropped in February of 2003 and went on to sell 50,000 units to date.
The new album will feature Royce rhyming over beats from rising-producer Nottz, who has worked with Ghostface, G-Unit and Lloyd Banks; and also production from Reef.
M.I.C. is slated for releases October 26.
The final tracklist is as follows:
"Intro" "Nickel" (produced by Nottz) "Jump" (produced by Nottz) "Buzz" "Stand Up" "Gone In 30 Seconds" "On The Road" "Switch" "Hit You (Street Games)" "52 Bars" "Basic Rap" "F--- A Hook" "Dope" "No Talent Rappers" "Back In The Days" "Brothers Keeper"
