Snoop Dogg is facing another lawsuit. This time, music promoter Patricia Richardson has filed a $1 million suit against the rapper for allegedly almost getting her arrested.
According to the Associated Press, Richardson claims that the rapper ordered her to pick up three packages from a motel that were filled with marijuana, then was pulled over as she tried to deliver the packages to Snoop Dogg.
Although she was not arrested, she was searched, handcuffed and questioned at a Petersburg police station in Virginia.
Richardson's attorney had been unsuccessful in delivering papers to the rapper because Snoop is rarely in Virginia. But recently, the rapper was served with the papers even though the suit was filed nearly seven years ago.
The attorney arranged for Virginia Beach Sheriff's Department to serve the lawsuit papers to Snoop when he appeared in Virginia for a concert on Wednesday (August 11).
He has 20 days to file a formal response to the suit's allegations.
