Singer Bobby Brown has recently turned himself in on battery charges against his wife Whitney Houston.
According to reports, Brown turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail just hours before his court-imposed deadline of Sunday (July 11) at midnight, due to a judge's determination that there was enough evidence to proceed with the case.
He was charged in May of 2004 for allegedly striking Houston in the face during a heated argument at their home in Atlanta, Georgia in December.
Brown posted $2,000 bail after being booked and will remain free until his court date.
The singer continues to add to his long list of legal problems. In March, Brown was sentenced to 90-days for missing three child-support payments to his ex-wife, Kim Ward (see "Bobby Brown Back In Jail For Failure To Pay Child Support").
